Awakening with Equines with Kate Neligan

Women’s Dream Enlightenment | Episode 87

Kate Neligan is an Equine-Partnered Coach, Animal Communicator & Healer, motivational speaker, TEDx presenter, and best-selling co-author. She is the creator of the Awakening With Equines Certification program and Horse Wisdom Card Deck. Kate has a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology and brings over 15 years of coaching experience, along with extensive training in multiple healing modalities.

After leaving a successful career as a VP of Marketing in the film industry, Kate followed her calling to explore the transformational power of the human–animal bond. She now helps clients strengthen their intuition, emotional intelligence, and leadership, both virtually and through in person experiences with horses and goats. Passionate about supporting women to thrive, her TEDx talk on perfectionism reflects her commitment to authentic, heart-led living.

What does Enlightenment Mean to you?

To Kate, enlightenment is a higher state of consciousness. But it is also in a practical sense, the embodiment of our connection to everything. She reminds us that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, not the other way around. Ascension is really just moving from the lower vibrational states of fear and shame towards the higher vibrations of love and joy.

From the Film Industry to Equine Healing

Kate started working in the film industry, specifically in the horror genre, while at the same time she was pursuing her Master’s degree in spiritual psychology. It led her to create a media channel that was focused on entertaining, enlightening, and inspiring. But then the horses showed up in her life and took her path in a whole new direction.

Your Calling

Your calling is a combination of your passion and talent. As Kate discovered, it doesn’t originate with the ego. We must honor the flow, releasing resistance, when we are spiritually led, which could pivot us at any time. Alignment isn’t one lane, as we evolve, we level up.

Human-Animal Connection

My books deal closely with my connection with cats, and include cats I have shared my life with. I’ve met many animals in my dreams, which also made it into my books. I wanted to find out how Kate came to have her connection with horses, and then later goats. Kate was ridiculed as a child as well as endured intense pressure with an Olympic trainer. It turns out Kate’s first word was cat, they were her first animal connection, and she considered being a veterinarian.

We discussed how animals can heal us by raising our frequency through both transmission and transmutation. Kate feels animal communication is an important entry point for telepathy. And there’s so much to learn about self-care from observing the behavior of animals. Kate shared a 5D transcendental experience she had while meditating with one of her goats. To conclude, Kate pulled a card from her horse-inspired wisdom card deck, listen it to receive the message.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Welcome. Today we have Kate Neligan. She is an equine partnered coach, animal communicator and healer, motivational speaker, TEDx presenter, and bestselling co-author. is the creator of the Awakening with Equines Certification Program and the Horse Wisdom card deck. Kate has a master’s degree in spiritual psychology and brings over [00:01:00] 15 years of coaching experience, along with extensive training in multiple healing modalities. After leaving a successful career as a VP of marketing in the film industry, Kate followed her calling to explore the transformational power of the human animal bond. She now helps clients strengthen their intuition, emotional intelligence and leadership, both virtually and through in-person experiences with horses and goats about supporting women to thrive.

Her TEDx talk on perfectionism reflects her commitment to authentic heart led living. Welcome Kate.

Kate Neligan: Thanks. Thanks for having me here.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Yes. There’s so many things in that intro that I want to talk about. But we’re gonna start with the first question. That is, what does enlightenment mean to you?

Kate Neligan: Yeah, I think it’s very much just a higher state of consciousness, [00:02:00] which we ideally are all in a process of this awakening and ascension to raise our consciousness. And I feel on the practical side, that’s like an esoteric concept, right? But on the practical side, I feel like it’s the sense of embodied all knowing and feeling that we are connected to all things and are all things. And really the kind of practice of living as a spiritual being, having a human experience and really knowing that’s who we are is a spiritual being. And I do love power verse. This force and you know that definition of enlightenment and that there’s really this process of moving from these lower states of guilt and shame up to these higher states of joy, enlightenment, and love.

And personally, I’ve only, had moments of it and I feel like once we are fully in enlightenment, maybe we’re not even here anymore in the physical. But I [00:03:00] feel like the moments that I’ve had where I’ve had an ego death in my master’s program. I have experienced the oneness and the all and knowing that there’s just this sense of all love and all knowing and all connection.

So that’s what it is to me.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: I love that answer. Everybody answers it differently, but I completely am on track with everything that you said.

Kate Neligan: I.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Including the vibrational levels of the different emotions and how we go when we go through that. Remembering how we have to shed a lot of what we perceive is our, our person, right? The, our name, our avatar. And when we do that, then there are those glimpses of that eternalness and it’s just awe striking really. It’s humbling, but it’s also one of those [00:04:00] really beautiful moments that words can’t express.

Kate Neligan: It is true. Yeah. It’s a feeling

Megan Mary – MeganMary: So I wanna hear how you did your transition, because many people listening, they know they have this inner knowing, but yet they’re living a double life. And I’d like to hear everyone’s story of how they transitioned from one and be. Turned it into another. So from the film industry to the equine healing.

So let’s talk about that.

Kate Neligan: Yeah, and I was living that double life for a while in. In basically selling horror movies, like one of the worst sort of places you could be inside of entertainment. And we had other films in that, but I, I was creating a program in January called New Year New Fear. [00:05:00] And it, and everyone loved it.

And I was getting all these accolades for what I was creating and then I was going to agape a spiritual community and church after work. And I was getting my master’s in spiritual psychology and I was completely like two different people in terms of my interests and my hobbies. And I actually left at first to create a conscious media channel.

So I had a, basically I’d curated thousands of uplifting videos that really helped people restore their faith in humanity and uplift consciousness. It really was about, it was Entertain and enlighten and inspire. So enlighten was right there in that tagline, and that was the goal. And then as I was doing that.

It wasn’t really working the way I had wanted, and it wasn’t really for me to do. I thought it was my divine assignment, but then the horses came back into my life and took over and were like, you’re to work for us now. And so in [00:06:00] some ways I just had another pivot. I still love. The, I love film, I love storytelling.

I love the creativity behind that world, and I just could not really be in this ego pursuit because that’s what I thought I was gonna do, is just climb up the movie studio ladder and be, head of a studio and launch this channel. And I just really decided that my greatest joy was. Was horses and I wanted to spread the teaching from my master’s program in spiritual psychology.

It had helped me so much that I wanted it to be there for others, and it paired so beautifully with what I was learning around how the horses were showing up for people in personal growth work and then eventually the goats. And so it was just a natural pairing of my gifts and my greatest loves and desires.

I feel like our calling is a combination of what we love and what we’re really passionate, interested in, what we’re good at, and then what the world [00:07:00] needs. And it just became this really nice combo and way that I could contribute in a way that was actually congruent instead of, just about this like life.

That was just for my ego, so

Megan Mary – MeganMary: I

Kate Neligan: I.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: how you defined and I think it’s right on par. It’s. It’s what we’re good at. It’s our natural talents, but it’s also what we are really passionate about, what we feel is important, then also how we use our skills to share what we feel is really important and that. Combo is so unique to each one of us, and we each have the ability and the calling to recognize what that is and to contribute that to the world.

That people need something you have because you are [00:08:00] part of them. Is really right how it goes and it can change. I don’t think that it’s one and done

Kate Neligan: Agree.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: it, yeah. It’s, and I do believe that spirit or the universe or whatever it is constantly pivoting us, it seems and really are, and I don’t even wanna call it a challenge, but our, know, duty to go with that flow. And so even if we’re doing the spiritual work and we think that we found the thing and that we’re in alignment and we’re doing the work out in the world and something else us another direction, we have to still that resistance

Kate Neligan: Yeah.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: and recognize that it is another turn in the wheel of all the things we’re supposed to be doing.

Right. I.

Kate Neligan: And I am in it [00:09:00] again, which is the most uncomfortable I’ve been because I’m like, my whole identity is wrapped up in equine coaching and my work is, but I it’s almost like it’s getting massaged into the nuances of what it really is. So I’m shifting even from coaching to teaching and from more of this deep healing work, which is just a natural flow for me to wanting to speak and to do it and write and do it through content more so than one-on-one.

And so even that, it’s like realizing that’s some shedding and that I can’t hold so deeply to it needing to look a certain way just because I’ve done a lot of one-on-one in the past and I’ve really enjoyed it, and now there’s like this soul stirring of like bigger and do it a little differently, and so it’s leaning in and listening.

I love how you said like honoring the flow of it, because even when we’re in our calling, [00:10:00] it can still change. As we evolve and as we we change, then it’s like we get upleveled or we’re working on something different in a different way. Right?

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Yes. And alignment isn’t a pigeonhole, it isn’t a lane, it isn’t the same lane. It’s not. I’m aligned now, so now my work is done. I really think, and I’ve even experienced that as I’ve been doing this even with the podcast and with the one-on-one work that I do, and I was going to write a nonfiction book and I was starting to do that, and then direction came in. No, you’re writing a fiction book. I don’t even, wasn’t even reading fiction at the time. I’m like, I don’t

Kate Neligan: Wow.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: the first thing about writing a fiction book. And then I was like, okay, I’m gonna do the one book. Then it became three and now I’m writing the nonfiction book. Sometimes you have to get out of your own way and go, okay, I [00:11:00] understand, use me as the channel, right? However I can be of service and maybe obviously more people needed to be reached in that indirect way of story then in picking up a self-help book. Maybe there was more. At that time, more need at that time because just with the books in general, I feel if you feel called to write them, it’s because somebody is waiting for them to be written.

And so

Kate Neligan: I love that.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: it’s,

Kate Neligan: And it’s so cathartic to write too, isn’t it? In some way, like it’s just

Megan Mary – MeganMary: that I had to do

Kate Neligan: yeah.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: in

Kate Neligan: Yeah.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: stories.

Kate Neligan: Yeah.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: So I wanna talk about the human animal connection because the, in, in my books, they very much deal with the connection with cats because that is very much part of the, in my life, what has been so important to me. And so cats and my [00:12:00] own cats, even our characters in the stories. My cats play a very big role. And I’ve. Experience. A lot of other connections with other animals. Other animals came into the story, owls, turtles, they came to me in my dreams. All these different sorts of animals that showed up to be part of this message. So how did you end up working with horses?

Kate Neligan: Horses have really always been there for me, from when I was little, it was, I was obsessed. I was watching all the movies and reading the books, and I. Always wanna, someone asked me the other day like, do you remember the first time you rode? And I’m sure it was just like one of those basic pony rides at a farm.

’cause I was living in more like a rural Pennsylvania when I was a kid. So I don’t really remember that, first time. But like my mom really had the road horses growing up. And so she thought it was something I would like, so she brought me to riding lessons and then I fell in love with it. My best friend also did.

So we were [00:13:00] going every single week, just, to lessons and then to camp. So the horses were always there. I felt like I was always this. Horse kid, but there were also some, there was some challenge with it. I was bullied for my love of horses. I was nada when I was in elementary school.

I was told I couldn’t have a horse unless I got straight A’s. So it became a lot of perfectionism. I had an Olympic trainer at one point who was like really strict and so it, it was very, it was a side of my life that was. So intense and challenging, but also like just so much love. So the horses were always there.

I will say that cats, were actually are my first real love in the animal world though, because that was technically my first word from what I’ve been told. And all I did was beg for a cat until I was like seven and I finally got one. Cried the whole way home. ’cause I felt bad taking her. She was a little kitten taking her from her mom being like, we should go bring her back ’cause she needs [00:14:00] her mom.

And it was just like, I was so empathic even back then.

And I wanted to be a vet I was, it was always a thing with we had a dog growing up and we had a cat and it was, they were just such great loves that my teachers would, one teacher in particular, she went and got me little cat stickers to grade my papers with because I was just like obsessed as a kid.

And my birthday cake, my was my first birthday cake was a cat. My coloring, costumes, all of that. And today I feel like I, cats can be involved and we can talk about it in like the animal assisted healing work and therapy work. Dogs are more well known, but I, the neighbor’s cat where I live is like one of my best friends and we just have this amazing relationship because he doesn’t live with me and I don’t, I don’t feed him and I just started, I gave him food for the first time the other day, but it’s been a year and a half and we’ve just been good friends and there’s something about how cats work. That’s especially this guy, he’s just like such an intense healer. And similarly, all of the animals can, at their [00:15:00] frequency, at their version of enlightenment, raise our frequency even just by being with ’em. And then of course there’s vis physical things for each of them. With cats a pur and with horses, a lot of it’s breath and their size of their hearts the size of their guts.

The fact that they’re pre animals and have co-evolved alongside of us. So you have the science pieces and then you have the very unexplainable mystery piece of like, how are cats able to pur at a frequency that’s, that, that’s sound healing, right? Essentially. So yeah, there’s, I think all of the animals have their own unique gifts and for me, I’ve just been on this journey of trying to understand each of ’em, but it’s always been all of the animals because I wanted to be a vet.

And because I’ve just been obsessed with ’em since I was little, so

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Yes. And I had a dog first, so I was a dog person first, but as I became an adult living on my own, that’s when I started having cats. And I just don’t ever wanna live without them. In fact, Merlin is sleeping on my lap [00:16:00] right now and has been all afternoon. Good thing that I have a desk job, right?

Kate Neligan: Yeah.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: ’cause he is always with me, and I think he’s very protective, very grounding. And of course all of them very healing. So I completely agree and I’ve had some experiences with horses and they were all good and I just didn’t grow up around them, but I think they’re beautiful, majestic animals and, the way that we communicate with animals is. Really on a spiritual level because we don’t [00:18:00] speak the same language, and yet we know that we can understand each other so well. It’s just that’s not quite explainable in words.

Kate Neligan: Yeah, and it brings up the whole telepathic piece, which I think we’re just gonna continue to develop telepathic ability. And so animal communication is one entry point into that. And they live in a very different. World where feeling good is important to them. Meditation is natural. Rest is natural.

Self-care and self preservation is natural. So as humans with minds and egos, we have a lot we can learn from animals just from how they’re role modeling basic. Basic self-care, basic needs, and then certainly even more so how they take care of each other, especially horses in a herd dynamic. How they take care of each other in community and how they do readjust.

So quickly when they’re [00:19:00] stressed out, like how often they’ll come back to parasympathetic the goats as well. So I think there’s just a lot we can learn from them on these spiritual concepts just by even watching them because they’re living it like that’s their natural state. It’s not dysfunctional like humans can have with our own versions of trauma and societal programming and also just.

Our minds and our egos right?

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Yes, so true. So when you do the equine therapy, is it involve riding, not involve riding? Is it other forms of interaction with the horses and the goats?

Kate Neligan: Yeah, so I often like to do things that look very meditative. If you were to watch, doesn’t seem like there’s much going on. I have exercises I will [00:20:00] use that are all groundwork, so we’re eye to eye or we’re, we’re seated, or even I’ll bring out a massage table and people are laying on that and receiving the horse’s energy work and frequencies.

But ultimately it’s. This connection where we are like equals where? They’re at liberty. They’re not necessarily tacked up and controlled. They can move away and do what they need to do. Unless we’re doing some specific exercise with a halter and a lead rope. But for the most part, yeah, everyone is able to meet where they’re at.

So the horses get to choose in and choose out and come up to a certain person at a certain time. And often how we work. Is we say, you could never make this stuff up because the way they are able to read people is pretty impressive. So if someone. Is maybe holding onto some emotion and they’re not necessarily processing it.

A horse might come up and just immediately just stare right into their eyes until someone just feels so seen that they start to cry [00:21:00] or put their head right up into someone’s heart and press into the space and someone will be like, I have to get outta my head. And they’ll drop in. They will mirror stuff.

They will show us stuff by how they’re doing things in their behavior. And then someone’s oh my gosh, this is exactly what I’m going through at home. Or this just looks, this reminds. Of me, of what’s going on at work, and so they help facilitate quite a bit of amazing conversation based on even what the horses will start to act out through the field essentially.

In some ways, it’s like constellation work that they’re representing and acting things out to, in my opinion, basically to illuminate what needs to be seen for congruency or for healing to happen. And all horses act a little differently. Some are more in the healing space. Some are more in this like therapeutic coaching space.

Some are in teacher space. One of my horses, she’s just very reflective. Like usually she’s the one that I’m like, if I don’t know what’s going on, I look to her and she’ll act it out and then I’ll know. So it’s quite amazing. But it’s that, it’s based on the premise of how you do one thing [00:22:00] is how you might do anything.

So it’s very experiential learning. It’s very kinesthetic and somatic.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: What’s of the most. Transcendental things that has happened with you and a horse.

Kate Neligan: It is funny because one of my favorite experiences is with one of my goats where I was just sitting there meditating with her and I started to. Just hit five D very quickly and I was in a very different altered state and I was very aware. I was in my body. I was very clear that I was there, and yet I was in a space of just pure bliss, nothing else.

And very grounded in that space, like very much still functioning. But there wasn’t really thought, and there wasn’t really any of that mind chatter, and there was just a lot of tr, it was like a transcendental experience with [00:23:00] her. So she brought me there. It’s almost like I just hooked up to her frequency and then she just journeyed me into that place was really cool.

The way someone might lead you there through let’s say yoga or a sound bath or a shamanic journey. That’s what happened with her with the horses. For me, I’ve just had so many where it’s often when I’m laying on the massage table and I am just surrendered into that space where I don’t need to do anything or change anything and I’ll be fine and then all of a sudden I’ll have an awareness of something and I’ll just start to cry and it happened the other day. I’ve been putting myself through like a daily practice of doing some healing work with them right now to really raise my frequency intentionally. And I was aware of something around limiting belief and I got into kind of the core pain and core wound. And I was like, wow, that’s actually what’s been bothering me.

And then I just [00:24:00] cried and let it go and worked my process with it until I was able to feel back to this peaceful space. And then the horses just, they transmute a lot, but they’re also transmitting. And so then I was able to get off the table and I was like, I’m totally feel amazing. This is absolutely it was as though I had just, had a sound bath and a shower and went to the beach and had a game where I was playing. Like it was just, it’s all these great feelings. And and that happens somewhat frequently, I just have, we, I think we have to be willing to face some of the shadow, walk right through it, and then go to the other side.

So that’s usually what happens for me when I’m with the horses.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Wonderful. Do you dream about your horses or goats? Do they show up?

Kate Neligan: No, but I was gonna ask you that, if you have, since you’re, you seem to be a very active dreamer and they’re come, the animals are coming to you in there. Not as much as I would like, but I have had some interesting things over the years where a [00:25:00] certain horse in my life will show up as a human and they’ll have.

Very similar hair and very similar attitude and personality. And they’ll talk to me like as a human and they’ll do something with me. And so that’s been really fun where I’m just like, I’ll wake up and I’m like, I was just with my horse in human form. So that’s happened to me and I enjoy that. But occasionally it’s more it’s more like I’ll hear a voice and I have to ask, is this.

My intuition, my guide are one of my animals, and often it’s one of my animals and I’ll, be told things that I need to do or they’ll be like, come outside and we need to talk to you. And so and more, because I live with them now, we’re always sharing this. This bubble of of consciousness.

And so I’m tapping in and out of them and I do like to channel them for people and bring their wisdom. If people have questions, I like to bring it to my animals and then get them answers to, but dream state-wise no. I bet you I could cultivate it though [00:26:00] if I wanted to. And also I’ve heard stories of people who have other.

Like other types of horses from different places in the world come to them in their dream states. So I will get horses showing up before I do animal communication sessions. I’ll have a pain and I’ll be like, this is not my pain. And then I’ll get onto a Zoom or I’m in person with an animal and I’m like, does your horse have such and such going on?

And they’re like, yes. And I’m like, okay, let’s get that. Cleared up because I’m already feeling it, so that will happen to me sometimes, but yeah. What about you? How does it happen with your, when they come in, do they bring messages? How does it work?

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Yeah. So I usually, when animals show up in my dreams, they talk, which is what I put in my books. So I’ve had talking turtles several talking owls. My cats do also show up in my dreams and talk, [00:27:00] and my books were actually inspired by, a dream. At this point, it was like 12 years ago. That was of a talking cat that I don’t have, that I’ve not known in real life.

But he talked as well, and he had a lisp and he told me his name was Wixby. And I was like, okay, what do I do with you? And so I am always very cognizant of writing down when animals show up and have a message. Particularly the owls had very prophetic messages in terms of what was going to happen. And, really were ushering in sort of my transformation and a lot of people call them spirit guides or whatever you might call them I definitely pay attention when they show up because they’re usually always there to tell me something. Channeling [00:28:00] horse’s wisdom, essentially, and so I wanna talk about your horse wisdom card deck. Did you, how did you go come about creating that? Do you feel that they speak through the deck?

Kate Neligan: Yes. So one day I just heard while I was at my desk, randomly write down everything that we teach. And so I just took a li pad out and wrote down like these 40 qualities and they just came really quickly. Like we, we teach presence and we teach wisdom, and we teach flow. And so I was like now what would you like me to do with this?

And it became very clear like it’s gonna be a card deck, like you’ve always loved card decks. In some ways I feel like my intuition opened up quite a bit through working with card decks and back in the day. And I was like, okay. So I had started with a different artist and then it evolved to literally the horse is telling me who they wanted the artist to [00:29:00] be.

And then and basically picked what they wanted to do and the booklet became the first part. This was really neat because I had originally it was just gonna write about the quality. Of let’s say, patience and I was just gonna write a, whatever came in around that quality. And then it became very clear.

The first part of the booklet was specifically what the horses have to say about it through their voice. And most of the time it was like horse collective or horse consciousness is like representation. And occasionally based on certain cards, it was specific courses that we’re talking.

And then there was the second part, which is really what I. What they wanted me to write based on my years of coaching around the quality. And then the last was an exercise, whether you have a horse or you wanna do it through visualization or meditation different qualities. ’cause I do work with a lot of equine partnered life coaches and equine assisted therapists.

And so that’s for them to be able to [00:30:00] use in their practice. So that was really neat how that came in. And there are other decks out there, but this one, really wanted it to be that kind of channeled wisdom directly from them. And so it’s been fun. It’s been really neat and I did a lot of the photos.

Through either things I’ve already done with horses. So I took a lot of my photos and I brought it to the artist and I was like, can you replicate this? And so it was to like, the receiving card I’m showing was a sound bath with horses. And this is based on different sound baths that we’ve done over the years with different horses.

And so I put in different horses that are that I’ve worked with or that I’ve had, like this is, this trust card is my current. One of my current horses, Selita, and this is a pose that she likes to do where she puts her butt up against people and works on root healing, root chakra healing that way.

And then that’s the other thing is they had me map them to the chakra system. So receiving is this heart opening card and so it’s green and for [00:31:00] the heart chakra. So it was really neat to just like basically follow directions and, listen and I, that to me is like the joy of co-creation where it’s not.

It’s really is this, like I do think of them as my CEOs and I’m like, okay what are we doing now? What would what would you like me to do? Because my mission, when I serve them, things flow. When I get, again back into any kind of ego, I wanna do this and I need to do that and I should do this.

It’s like I get can get off course right? And so I really keep trying to do my best to go back to. A, receiving this work. So I’m very congruent with what my clients go through. And then b, just like doing my best to listen to them and ask them what they want because this one day I was in the shower and I just heard how grateful they were that they were all over the coun, all over the world, like in all these different countries and different states and that they could be with different equine coaches.

All over and a lot of these horses have passed. They’re not [00:32:00] even here anymore. So this is, to me, it’s like their legacy and that makes me most proud is that I could put their legacy into something that lives on.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Yes. Yes. I love that. That’s exactly how I felt about putting all my cats in the book. They all had to be all head of a role. Would you like to pull a card

Kate Neligan: Sure. Yeah.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: what it is, what horse wisdom we have?

Kate Neligan: Yeah, I always like to ask what is it that the horses most want us to focus on at this time? And it’s, year of the fire horse, which is, really neat. So the horses are popular right now and I love to just to see what comes forward from this and, it’s a little, there we go.

Oh, I love this. So it’s funny, these, there’s actually two that are coming up. So this one is relationship and these are horses that are mutually grooming each other. And what that is is there a way that when we’re doing something in relationship, like it’s good for you that we’re doing this podcast and it’s good for me, [00:33:00] and then it’s good for the listeners.

There’s really this symbiosis connection there and how can we. Grow relationships with others as a way to grow or work in the world. And our impact. The one that, it’s funny ’cause I kept, I pulled up that in the booklet to this page, so I’ll also just mention this ’cause this was on top too. But this is the pleasure card and this in some ways is similar to this relationship card where you’ve got a human scratching a horse, and in the relationship card you’ve got two horses scratching each other.

But it is that mutually beneficial. And there’s this circle. And I love the bird energy and it really is paying it forward. You’re basically letting all of the women who come onto your podcast speak and that gives us a platform. And it’s the sharing of our communities that I think is really helpful, especially for women.

And so I like that. I always enjoy speaking. It is a pleasure for me. And and I love connecting with people. So I think this is a, these are good cards, for everyone. [00:34:00] For everyone. And hopefully they get a lot of the pleasure out of listening to this podcast.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Thank you for that

Kate Neligan: yeah.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: for sharing that. Really appreciate the insights there. And I do agree that in this new phase that we’re moving into, we really do have to. Help each other find each other, support each other because less separation that we have, the less we’re gonna get lost in the fear loops and all of the programming. And that you’re right. This really was something that Spirit told me to do that I wasn’t even planning on doing. I was really scared to do it, but

Kate Neligan: Wow.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: has become part of my life and it has become a very valuable experience for me. But like you said, it also is greatly benefiting everyone that I have on everyone who listens.

It has this beautiful domino effect that I could have never imagined. I didn’t [00:35:00] even listen to podcasts when. The message came to create one. So it’s a beautiful thing and, I’m glad that you’re here to add a new aspect to it that has not been discussed before, and horses have so much wisdom to share with us and it’s just wonderful to be able to talk about a different aspect of animal communication.

So where can people find you if they wanna find out more about what you’re doing? Wanna find your deck?

Kate Neligan: Sure. So my website is just KateNeligan.com with one L and the deck is there and information on sessions. And then my Instagram and Facebook are all Kate Neligan, equine Coach, or Awakening with Equines is the business name. So people can find me that way.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Wonderful. Thank you for being here today and sharing your story and the work that you’re doing out in the world. It’s very valuable and appreciate you being here.

Kate Neligan: Thank you. I’m so glad we got to do this, and I, yeah. I feel like people [00:36:00] are gonna love knowing about your books too, and they’re gonna get so curious about checking it out. And they’re called the Dream Haunters series, is that

Megan Mary – MeganMary: It’s it’s witches of Maple Hollow

Kate Neligan: right. Okay.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: The Dream Haunters is the first

Kate Neligan: Okay.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: and then the second one is. The dream mirrors. And the third is the dream dimensions, which actually I was called to integrate the chakras in as well. So have some similar instruction going on there

Kate Neligan: I love.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: recent one.

Yes.

Kate Neligan: someone just the other day ask me like, how can I get to know, how do I know how to work with my dreams more? And I’m like I’m actually gonna be on a podcast soon with someone that could help you with that. So I do find that, yeah, we get connected when we’re meant to, so I love it.

Yeah.

Megan Mary – MeganMary: Yes. I’m so glad that that we made our connection and that we were able to do this today. So thank you again, Kate, for being here.

Kate Neligan: Thank you.
