Unlocking the Mysteries of Your Mind: Why a Dream Interpreter Should Be a Key Part of Your Personal Growth Journey

Every night we receive messages in the form of our dreams. They speak to us in a language we are not taught in school.

Everyone’s dream language is unique, yet we don’t grow up knowing how to use it or how to understand it.

A dream interpreter is skilled in how to unravel and demystify your dream language. Yet there are many different approaches.

Some draw from a psychological perspective, formulated by historical figures such as Freud or Jung, whose “collective unconscious”, supposes we all share archetypal symbolism that is common to all humans throughout the ages.

Others draw from the spirit world, divining secret messages from the world beyond the earthly realm.

Over the years, I have studied a wide variety of theories, models, philosophies and approaches, which eventually I evolved into my own method.

Decoding the Symbols in Your Dreams: How a Dream Interpreter Can Help

It is common for dreams to be about situations in the past we are still trying to work through or situations we are anticipating will occur in the future.

They are also about how we interact with others, our insecurities, our hopes, our failures and our successes.

They can help us solve problems, find new solutions, discover approaches we had not considered and reveal paths we overlooked.

In my approach, you the dreamer, comes first.

I naturally will have my own ideas about what your dream might mean, but I find the most valuable approach is to guide you, and reflect back to you, what resonates with you.

Your feelings, impressions, and opinions about the settings, people, actions and emotions of the dream are what matters the most.

Not what I, or anyone else assumes all of those things mean to you.

The simple process of telling another your dream is beneficial in itself, as we all have a deep desire to be heard, understood and accepted.

For me, dream interpretation is supportive listening and strategic questioning.

This allows you to uncover details and assumptions you initially leave out, and helps you articulate and therefore personally discover whatever it is your dreams are trying to tell you.

It is, after all, a message from you, to you.

Therefore I serve as a guide, an in between mediator and neutral confidant, with whom you can safely and securely explore your dreams, without the projections, assumptions or broad one-fits-all descriptions attempted by dream dictionary websites.

The Benefits of Hiring a Dream Interpreter for Personal Growth and Development

My approach to dream interpretation puts you the dreamer in control, it also allows you to come to your own intimate conclusions, which is infinitely more beneficial than applying a generic translation which can be limiting, distracting and ultimately misleading.

In my virtual sessions, I ask dreamers to submit their dreams prior to their session.

This is to assist the dreamer in recording the dream as accurately and in as much detail as possible.

However, there is always more to the story.

That is why once we are in the dream session, we discuss at length every aspect described in your initial submission.

This exploration can result in great a-ha moments where you suddenly can see how the dream relates to your waking life in a way you never thought of before.

It really can be quite miraculous! Are you ready for your a-ha moment?

Hi Heidi, Thanks for visiting my blog! Although they may seem random, the objects in your dreams are very likely not random at all. Each object in our dreams holds significant meaning. The setting and people handing you the objects is also important. I would love to explore your dreams with you! Thanks for visiting.
